  • Make a mermaid/ merman tale/ trident out of cardboard, fabric, and paper.
  • Have fun with kinetic sand and water
  • Paint with bubble paint!

Sat 20th Sept – Air:

  • Make a hot air balloon
  • Design your own wind catcher and paper airplane!

Sat 27th Sept – Fire:

  • Build your own campfire with cardboard, sticks,

tissue paper and LED lights!

  • Illustrate a wildfire using a mix of drawing and collage techniques, including organic materials such as autumn leaves.

Sat 4th of October – Witches and Wizards:

  • Decorate your own cape!
  • Make your wand.

Sat 11th of October – Vampire and Bats:

  • Make a hanging paper bat mobile to decorate your house for Halloween!
  • Design a vampire paper doll inside its coffin.

Sat 18 of October – Ghosts:

  • Draw a paper-cutout haunted house!
  • Create ghost decorations made of paper, yarn, and tissue.

Sat 25 of October – Funny Monsters:

  • Draw or paint your own funny monster!
  • Transform pumpkins into scary creatures by using drawing, painting, and collage techniques!

What: Our workshops are designed for children

from Primary 1 to Primary 7. Parents are welcome to stay.

All activities are age-appropriate. Some might involve

extra steps for older children.

On rare occasions, we will have activities specifically

geared towards children 5 to 8 years old and 9 to 11 years old.

Where: Dressing Rooms at The Corn Exchange,

Jan 10th: Glowing Galaxy Painting and Jar

– Decorate your own galaxy with fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark paints, glitter, stickers and more!

– Make a glow-in-the-dark galaxy jar using amazing colour layering techniques.

Jan 17th: Funky Planets Mobile

– Decorate your own planets based on our solar system! With paint, fabric, yarn, sequins, and more, you can create the most original, colourful, and stylish mobile.

Jan 24th: Sparkly Stars and Constellations

– Design your own star constellations inspired by the ones in the sky! With transparent acetate sheets, fake gems, tissue paper and paint, we will create the brightest of constellations! Once dry, we’ll put them on our overhead projector to project your stars into space!

Jan 31st: Build your own shiny rocket or spaceship!

– With cardboard, collage, assemblage, and painting techniques, we can create the most amazing rocket/spaceship to explore the planets and stars!

August 6th: Get ready for a blast as we have fun making prints like Andy Warhol!

August 4th: We’ll dive into collage and clay, creating fun pieces inspired by Niki de Saint Phalle’s colourful mosaic sculptures.

August 5th: It’s time to get messy with paint as we explore bold, vibrant abstract designs inspired by Paul Klee’s artwork.

August 6th: Get ready for a blast as we have fun making prints like Andy Warhol!

August 7th: We will come together to create a big and colourful collaborative drawing based on works by Sol LeWitt— it’s going to be fantastic!
