About Us

Hello! I’m Sofia, the creative spirit and workshop facilitator behind Cheeky Monkey Art Club! I ventured to Scotland in 2014, where I earned my MFA at the Glasgow School of Art in 2016. My artistic journey began in France, which laid the foundation for my passion for art and creativity. I have a wealth of experience working with children, having worked with various wonderful organizations in Glasgow, such as Kinning Park Complex , Home-Start Glasgow South , East Pollokshields Quad , and MILK Community . This hands-on experience has deepened my love for nurturing young minds through art. Now residing inl Fife with my partner Miles, I realized I missed engaging with little ones. This inspired me to take the plunge and launch a vibrant, self-managed arts and crafts business tailored for the kids of North-East Fife. In our workshops, I’ll be leading the creative charge, while Miles, who also shares a background in Art and Creative Practices (he graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2016 as well), will be supporting as a Workshop Assistant.
